Space-Submersibles are the primary form of transportation used by Dino-nauts. They were accidentally invented by Bob, a janitor, who wondered what would happen if he stuck a pair of scissors into a spaceship's flux capacitor. As it turns out, they travel smoothly the sub-space flux, leaving them undetectable by conventional means of tracking, such as butter tracking.

Early History

After Bob's famous Scissor Experiment, for which he was posthumously awarded both a Nobel Prize and a Darwin Award, Space-Submersibles were unpopular for quite some time. Early production was fraught with problems, including low funding, poor parentheshielding, and a lack of janitors stupid enough to stick scissors into flux capacitors. However, once a team of enterprising Dino-nauts solved the last problem by employing little orphans, the vessels began to grow in popularity.

The vessels' usefulness in combat quickly became apparent, since velociraptors in Space-Submersibles can't help but pwn things.

History

Tired of things being pwnd, several interests, notably the Syntax Nazi, began to invest in counters to the Space-Submersibles. However, since no one could figure out where Sub-Space was, progress was slow. Then the Syntax Nazi had a revelation. But I'm not going to tell you what it was. (It did, however, exploit the ability of parenthesis to move material to the sub-space of reality).
