Logo

We need to put up the logo. I made one I wanted to include a dinosaur. It might not be the best idea to use it I suppose. If someone wants to find another dinosaur pic that I could use and send it to me that would be hot. If we want to use it somebody needs to set it has the logo. The only thing I could find about it said something about doing it outside the wiki. So I'm not sure what needs to be done. Its uploaded though. gvlogo.jpg

General Consistency

It's fun and all, but the difference between a page named "TIE Bomber" and "TIE Bombers" will eventually drive you insane. Items/objects/etc need to have a page name in their singular form, and likewise should link to their singular form (with link text to make it plural when needed).

Server Related Crap

Server Issues

Okay, at least Daniel has had one problem accessing the site. Have two links of interest: [1], [2].

Given that I've had connectivity/latency issues with my server in their Atlanta datacenter ever since I bought it, I largely disregarded it as general network crap. Then [3] happened. Of note, take a read: [4].

I've got a ticket in to possibly move datacenters, so expect some downtime if that's what it comes to. Not much, but hey, just so you know.

Anon. Editing Disabled

Despite letting Spengy do pretty much all of the actual wiki config, I went ahead and disabled anonymous editing. Why? Spam. Spam sucks. And when you go ahead and say "but it won't get spam because no one knows about it!" - to that, I say, "log in." Evil Overlord 01:19, 10 January 2008 (EST)

Registration Disabled

Why did I disable registration? Because I can. And spam sucks. If we need new user accounts, Spengy will need to change the last line of LocalSettings.php. Or I can.
