Weapons and Tactics

The NumLock-Class BattleTyper is armed lightly with hyphen-cannons for self-defense purposes. Its main weapon is a deflector dish that emits an aimed encrypted signal that locks down the input of numbers into computer systems. The deflector dish recalibrates itself constantly to prevent people from jamming the transmission and restoring the use of their numbers. Friendly ships are the decoding signal for the number locking signal that allows them to be unharmed but as the beam is precisely aimed at enemy ships it is not normally needed. When numbers become locked-down it becomes a nightmare for gunners and pilots as they can not accurately aim their weaponry properly, or steer adaquetaly.
