The Greater-Than Cannon is a weapon commonly employed to break smaller-turtled armies out of their protective cover. It is not very effective in the opposite situation and being used by the smaller army. It functions best when, if viewed from the air, it forms a mathematically correct statement.

Observe this diagram:

XXXXX > XXX

In the opposite situation:

XXX > XXXXX Which is a false statement, the greater-than cannon will often backfire and have severe problems.

When faced with a Greater-Than Cannon, most field commanders will simply stop ordering their fields, rendering the cannon useless.
