Kelley Black Book, headquartered on Space-Jupiter, is the Gramma-Verse's largest criminal valuation company. The company provides a space-ballpark estimate for the punishment that will be imposed by Gestapo authorities for a particular crime.

The company's name comes from the Gestapo's practice of blacklisting literature, films, holographs, space-holographs, art, and other items, which break certain semantic practices. Violation of the blacklists can result in swift retribution from the authorities.

Kelley Black Book is commonly used by citizens who want to enjoy a blacklisted book or movie, but want to know what their punishment is likely to be in advance.

Consulting Kelley Black Book (which is not blacklisted due to being semantically correct) is considered to be impolite and one is usually called a mean name. Most people caught using Kelley Black Book are never heard from again, presumably because their feelings are hurt so badly they wish to go cry alone in a corner.

Some have suggested that Kelley Black Book is really a front for the Semantics Gestapo used to catch dissenters. Those responsible for making the suggestion later had their internal organs put on display in a local art museum (which was listed in the Kelley Black Book).
